Two serial explosions
hit Oslo

Two serial bombs
went off today injuring eight people here in Oslo, the capital city of Norway.
A severe explosion happened at the ministry of oil building whereas other rocked parliament building. Nordic countries
are comparatively peaceful however, the latest incident has brought worry among

Finland Observes Volley Ball Tournament
Helsinki 19 July.
NRNA Finland has
recently organized a volley ball tournament on July 18 to 19. The tournament was held among six teams on
league system and knock out system. In the final event, team Rudrabati 'A' secured winner trophy for the year 2011. The trophies were distributed to the winner players by
duo NRNA president Arun Pokharel and vice president Devi Dutta Sharma the
tournament. Gopal Bhattarai was announced as the man of the tournament. During
the award and certificate distribution ceremony, NRNA Finland President Arun
Pokharel stated that NRNA Finland is still in the initial stage and has no
strong financial position in order to organize various programs however it will
make efforts to such programs in order to establish solidarity amng Nepalese. Details..
NRNA Sweden Held AGMStockholm, 17 July 2011,
NRNA Sweden has accomplished its first AGM here in Stockholm, Sweden. NRNA ICC European vice coordinator Rabindra Man Shrestha, inaugurated the AGM by lighting the candle. AGM passed the NRNA Sweden constitution by a few amendments and passed the financial report unanimously. The AGM elected Nabin Thapaliya unanimously as the president for year 2011-2013.
CERTIFICATE AWARD
July 2, 2011 Copenhagen,
NRNA Denmark
organized a certificate award program to newly elected executive board members.
The certificates were awarded in presence of H.E. Vijaya Lal Karna, the
Nepalese ambassador for Denmark, here in Copenhagen and NRNA ICC vice chairman
Jiva Lamichhane. During the certificate awarding program, H.E. Karna
highlighted on future cooperation together with NRNA Denmark’s projects and he
also urged the organization to use the knowledge and experience for home
country. Meanwhile, ICC Chairman Jiva Lamichhane also highlighted on various
perspectives on how to use funds for the sake of Nepalese in an appropriate
way. In addition, he threw lights on how to be a responsible NRN for the sake
of people both home country and host country.
NRNA Denmark's AGM Ends up with New Configuration

The third session began with
nomination of election candidacy. Udaya Raj Gautam who chaired the election
committee called the members to nominate themselves for the various designations
in the executive board. All the posts
for 13 executive board members were submitted unanimously. The first AGM of
NRNA Denmark successfully ended up with a new executive board members. The

The NRNA Denamrk executive board meeting on 19th
June has decided to hold the Annual General Meeting on (Saturday) 25th
June 2011 at the premises of Nepali
Embassy in Denmark. Nepali Embassy in Denmark is located at Svanemollenvej 92,
Hellerup 2400 Denmark. According to the
program schedule released by NRNA, the formal program starts from 10:00 a.m.

NRNA DENMARK HOLDING AGM SOON
June 12, 2011
NRNA Denmark held a meeting regarding the preparation for upcoming general assembly. Executive board members including advisor committee and other Nepalese here attended the meeting and reached at following decisions.
- NRNA Denmark will carry out a census in order to acknowledge the exact figure and situation of Nepalese residing Denmark. To do it, NRNA Denmark will use its network and open an online registration service.
- The meeting has decided that the upcoming AGM will be held by 25th June 2011. The membership form will be open until 17:00 P.M. 19th June. The form can be submitted by person at Cafe White Ganesha, Nansensgade 64, Copenhagen.
- Krishna Prasad Paudel will be the coordinator for constitution review committee.
- To carry out AGM successfully, a coordination committee has been formed in the leadership of NRNA NCC Denmark president Som Nath Sapkota. The coordination committee is included with executive board members along with Hem Raj Aryal and Ramesh Gurung.
- In the leadership of Udaya Raj Gautam from advisor committee, an election committee has been formed which includes representatives of various Nepalese organizations here in Denmark. Binod Prasad Koirala from freelance corner will work as the joint coordinator for the election committee.
- NRNA Denmark has also reached the decision that to be eligible to be candidates of board member for the upcoming election one has to pay a non refundable deposit in order to be nominated. The deposit amount for nomination fee varies according to designation intended. (Only disclosed after 19th June.)

NRNA Denmark Holds Meeting with DGC
In context to a
number of Nepalese students declining in Denmark due to tougher government
policy to the students, other hand a new development has encouraged Nepali community that a
significant number of Danish Green Card holders
from Nepal has steeply inclined up. Estimated that around 50-60 Green Card
holders have already entered to Denmark but due to lack of information and weak
networks, the GC holders were unable to come up together in the net. Considering the new development of Nepalese
DGC holders, NRNA Denmark organized a meeting at Rentemestervej Copenhagen on 5th
June 2011. In the meeting, Nepalese who have already been living here for more
than three decades attended and shared their views with new comers in
Denamrk as DGC holders. Pros and cons of living in Denmark were extensively
reviewed. NRNA Denmark President Som Nath Sapkota and General Secretary Prabin
Prajapati highlighted the aim of NRNA Denmark and urged the participants to
join the hands together in order to build solidarity among Nepalese here in
Denmark. NP-in-DK google group has been invented as the outcome of the meeting to
share information among the members.
